FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Why should I choose Jacqueline Parker Creative?

We are a Premium hair and makeup service providing exceptional quality hair and makeup applications without the exorbitant price tag. We only work with the countries top hair and makeup artists so you can expect exceptional outcomes and satisfaction. Our service is prompt, user friendly and we have a fantastic clientele following because of our reliability and delivery on our promises.

2. When should I book my wedding trials? Do I need a trial?

Every Bride differs with this - however we do recommend that you have organised yours and your Bridesmaids' dresses (if applicable) as well as your flowers and any other major factors such as colour schemes and wedding location prior to the trials. We feel that between 4 and 6 months from the wedding is a nice time-frame.

There is no requirement to have a trial. All of our artists are highly experienced and are happy to assist you in designing a look on the wedding day. However we do recommend a trial as it is a good opportunity to meet your artist, discuss your desires for the day, and to experience wearing the hair and makeup which will be different to your everyday style. You can get a feel for what maintenance will be required throughout the day, practice wearing false lashes if you don't normally wear them and trial different styles until you are 100% happy. There is nothing better than having no surprises on the wedding day!

3. What should I bring to my trials? Do I need to prepare for the trial?

Please bring with you any reference pictures of hair and makeup looks that you like, along with any fabric swatches, pictures of bouquets or jewellery plus any hair peices, veils or other items you feel may be helpful in the design process.

To prepare for your trial, please wash your hair the night prior and come to the trial with a clean face without any product on it (even moisturiser). This will ensure best results are obtained.

4. Do you require a deposit? What payment methods do you accept?

Yes, we request a 30% deposit to secure all bookings. For weddings with trials, we only require a deposit for the trial initially. After the trial, if you're happy to proceed with the wedding day, we will request a further 30% deposit for the wedding day.

The balance of all invoices is due prior to the booking, with the exception of existing commercial clients who are billed on a 30-day account.

We prefer not to accept cash payments as they are hard to track, unless organised prior. We can accept direct bank transfers, or with a 2% surcharge we can accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX or PayPal. All payment details are on the invoices.

5. Do you come to me, or do I need to go to your studio?

We are a fully mobile service, so we come direct to our clients either in home, venue, studio or location. This eliminates any stress especially on wedding days of having to travel around to salons or studios.
